    Special Issue of the Caucasus Journal of Social Sciences The Caucasus Journal of Social Sciences, published by the University of Georgia, is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for a special issue dedicated to the inaugural conference of the International Legal Conference Series on EU Law (ILCS–EU Law), entitled:

    “Emerging Frontiers in EU Law: Adapting to a Changing Global Landscape” The conference was held at the University of Georgia in Tbilisi on 4–5 June 2026 and brought together scholars and legal professionals to discuss contemporary developments, challenges, and emerging research areas in European Union law. The special issue aims to continue the academic dialogue initiated during the conference and to provide a platform for the publication of original scholarly research concerning current and emerging issues in EU law. Conference participants are invited to submit articles based on their presentations or on related research. Submissions addressing the broader themes of the conference are also welcome.

    Submission Period The online submission system will be open from:

    1 August 2026 to 15 September 2026

  • Upcoming Special Issue - Education in Transition: Global Perspectives and Local Response

    The Caucasus Journal of Social Sciences invites researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to submit manuscripts for its upcoming special issue:

    Education in Transition: Global Perspectives and Local Responses

    This special issue seeks to bring together scholars from around the world to explore the dynamic relationship between global educational developments and local responses across all levels of education. We welcome empirical, theoretical, comparative, methodological, and policy-oriented studies that contribute to advancing educational knowledge and practice.

    Submission period: September 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026
    Review process: 4- 6 weeks 
    Publication Date: February 2027
