Dominik Dvořák, Ph.D., is a senior researcher at the Institute for Research and Development of Education, Faculty of Education, Charles University in Prague, and at the Department of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno. He originally trained in nuclear physics and later earned a Ph.D. in education. His research focuses on curriculum studies, the structure and development of school systems in post-socialist countries, the geography of education, and datafication in schooling. He has worked in educational publishing and has served as principal investigator or team member on numerous research projects in primary and secondary education. He is the author or co-author of multiple scholarly publications and serves as editor of the academic journal Orbis scholae. He is also Vice-Chair of the National Curriculum Council, advising the Czech Ministry of Education.
