The Caucasus Journal of Social Sciences (CJSS) is a fully open-access journal. All published content is made immediately and permanently available online without subscription or access barriers.

Contents

Copyright of all articles published in CJSS remains with the author(s).

Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication and the right to identify itself as the original publisher of the work.

The journal retains the right to publish, distribute, and archive the content in all formats and media.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This license permits:

  • Sharing — copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format;

Under the following condition:

  • Attribution — appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s) and source, a link to the license must be provided, and any changes made must be clearly indicated.

Author Agreement

By submitting a manuscript to CJSS, authors confirm that:

  • The work is original and has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere;
  • All authors have approved the submission and agree to its publication;
  • They have the authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of all co-authors;
  • Any prior dissemination (e.g., thesis, conference abstract, preprint, or translation) is fully disclosed at submission.

Upon acceptance, authors agree that their work will be published under the CC BY 4.0 license.

Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reuse any third-party material included in their manuscripts.

Such material may be subject to separate copyright and licensing conditions and must be clearly indicated within the article.

Self-Archiving and Repository Policy

CJSS permits authors to deposit and share all versions of their work, including:

  • Preprint (submitted version);
  • Accepted manuscript (post-peer-review version);
  • Published version (Version of Record).

These versions may be shared in:

  • Institutional repositories;
  • Subject repositories;
  • Personal or institutional websites;
  • Scholarly communication networks.

No embargo is applied.

Authors are encouraged to include a citation to the published version and DOI, where available, and to acknowledge CJSS as the original source of publication.

Licensing Display and Article Identification

Licensing information is clearly indicated on all published articles.

  • The CC BY 4.0 license statement is included in both HTML and PDF versions of each article;
  • The copyright holder (author(s)) is clearly identified on all published content;
  • Each article includes a clear citation identifying CJSS as the original source of publication.
