Call for papers for Special Issue

Special Issue of the Caucasus Journal of Social Sciences

The Caucasus Journal of Social Sciences, published by the University of Georgia, is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for a special issue dedicated to the inaugural conference of the International Legal Conference Series on EU Law (ILCS–EU Law), entitled:

“Emerging Frontiers in EU Law: Adapting to a Changing Global Landscape”

The conference was held at the University of Georgia in Tbilisi on 4–5 June 2026 and brought together scholars and legal professionals to discuss contemporary developments, challenges, and emerging research areas in European Union law. The special issue aims to continue the academic dialogue initiated during the conference and to provide a platform for the publication of original scholarly research concerning current and emerging issues in EU law. Conference participants are invited to submit articles based on their presentations or on related research. Submissions addressing the broader themes of the conference are also welcome.

Submission Period The online submission system will be open from: 1 August 2026 to 15 September 2026

Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the journal’s academic, ethical, and formatting requirements and submitted through the journal’s online platform.

Review and Publication Process All manuscripts will undergo an anonymous peer-review process. Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee publication. Articles receiving a positive evaluation and meeting the journal’s academic and editorial standards will be considered for inclusion in the special issue. Authors must register on the journal’s online platform before submitting their manuscripts. The Caucasus Journal of Social Sciences is a fully open-access journal and does not charge any publication fees. Authors can submit and publish their manuscripts free of charge following successful peer review and acceptance.
