Abstract

The work The Life of Vakhtang Gorgasali  by Juansher Juansheriani relates that after the death of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, his eldest son, Dachi, ascended the throne. Little information has survived to the present day about Dachi of Ujarma, also known as King Darchil. Until recent times, even the years of his reign were not determined. The article is a review by Professor M. Sanadze's work ,,The King of Kartli of the 6th c. Darchil (the Son of Vakhtang Gorgasali) and The Chronicles Describing his Life“ (Tbilisi, 2020).
