About Giuli Alasania

Giuli Alasania is a Professor and Doctor of Historical Sciences, and President of The University of Georgia. She is a distinguished historian and orientalist with a long-standing academic career spanning more than five decades. Her scholarly work focuses on the history of Georgia and the Caucasus, Middle Eastern history, Turkology, source studies, and issues of national identity and cultural interaction. She is widely recognized for her contributions to historical scholarship, academic leadership, and international scientific cooperation.
