About Nana Shavtvaladze
Dr. Nana Shavtvaladze, Ph.D., is a Professor of Georgian Linguistics and Head of the Department of Georgian Philology at the University of Georgia since 2010. She specializes in Linguistics, Methodology, Pedagogy, and Literature and has played a key role in the development of Georgian language studies and educational programs.
Academic & Professional Contributions
Dr. Shavtvaladze has authored 50 scientific research papers and 29 books on Georgian language history, irregular verbs, and teaching methodologies. She has extensive experience in teaching Georgian to VIP diplomats and has made significant contributions to Georgian language education.
She is also the Director of the Language School (LS) in Georgia since 2005, providing specialized language instruction and professional training.
