About Nana Pruidze
Dr. Nana Pruidze, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor, Researcher, and Provider of Quality Management at the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Georgia. She specializes in the history of 19th-century Georgian literature, textology, and professional editing.
Academic Background & Research
Dr. Pruidze has over 25 years of university teaching experience and has played a key role in textological studies, literary history, and academic editing. She has authored two monographs and over 60 scholarly articles, contributing extensively to the study and preservation of Georgian literary heritage.
She has been actively involved in Georgian language education, contributing to the development of textbooks for Georgian as a second language (A1, A2, B1 levels).
Her expertise also extends to editing and compiling major literary collections, including:
- The complete works of Ilia Chavchavadze and Akaki Tsereteli (20 volumes)
