Prof. Oliver Reisner, Dr. phil., is a historian and social scientist specializing in Eastern European and Caucasian history, EU studies, and memory studies. He is Professor of European and Caucasian Studies at Ilia State University, Tbilisi, and an internationally recognized scholar of nation formation, Europeanisation, religion, and civil society in the South Caucasus.
